Of course, this headline is a joke. Actually, Beane, Gingrich, and Kerry are the co-authors of an op-ed in today's New York Times about how Beane's Moneyball business methods might be the way to fix our heath care system. This is the second surprising Beane-related story this week. The other involved Brad Pitt playing the A's general manager in a Moneyball movie.
